We are still here to serve you during the COVID-19 pandemic!
We are gradually extending our services in accordance with BC’s COVID-19 Restart Plan. We are continually monitoring the federal and provincial regulations to ensure we assist you safely.
Our current office protocols are:
- Office visits are by appointment only. When possible, client meetings will take place remotely via telephone or video.
- When in-person meetings are necessary, they will be carried out in compliance with all recommendations from WorkSafeBC, BC’s Health Minister, and the BC Centre for Disease Control. We ask that you respect the mandated safety protocols by respecting safe distancing, washing your hands regularly or using hand sanitizer, and wearing a mask.
- Notary appointments are available in-person, from 10:00am – 11:00am on Wednesday, at our Qualicum Beach offices.
- Our staff is working diligently to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is your office open?
Yes, we are currently open 8:30am – 5:00pm from Monday through Friday, except for holidays. Services will be provided via telephone and video conferences, and in-person meetings will be arranged when necessary. For more information, please contact us – our front door remains locked at this time.
Can I drop-off documents in-person?
Yes, we have a document drop slot in our front door. Please follow the directions posted on the door. By using the drop slot, you are helping us to keep our staff and the public safe. If not urgent, all documents are left to sit for 24 hours before they are handled.

What COVID-19 precautions are you taking at Marshall & Lamperson Law Corporation?
We believe in doing our part to uphold the health of the communities we serve. We are diligently following the recommendations and guidelines of the Prime Minister, BC Provincial Health Officer, WorkSafeBC and the BC Centre for Disease control. This includes frequent handwashing, careful disinfecting of our workplace, physical distancing, and the use of masks, face shields, and gloves where necessary.
Can I complete my real estate transaction on time?
Yes, we file land transfer documents electronically, so real estate transactions can occur as usual. However, the Land Title Survey Authority now requires a lawyer to witness the client’s signature of transfer in person. We will arrange a document signing by appointment and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
